At the heart of every story we create, the UDU Model ensures that children are not just entertained but meaningfully engaged.
Our hands-on, devices off approach is about returning to the basics of creative play. No screens, no batteries required. Together, we bring over 100 years of experience as creative artists and educators studying creativity, honing techniques for activating creativity, and teaching children how to apply their creative thinking to solve real-world problems. Our approach is rooted in the belief that creative skills aren’t just for art. They’re for life.

A Unique Creative Play Framework
Our UDU Model is a six-stage, research-based framework for creative play. The first three stages support children ages 3–5, while the full model continues to grow with older children.
In these early years, children build critical skills through play. Our books—starting with The Wondrous Forest—invite you and your child into imaginative adventures that are playful, flexible, and fun. We guide you through every step. When repeated, these activities strengthen creative brain pathways, much like laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
The UDU Model supports whole mind development—nurturing creativity, imagination, empathy, communication, and critical thinking. It’s organized in two phases: Phase I for ages 3–4 and Phase II for children 5 and up.
Our play-based activities are made for children and grown-ups to enjoy together, combining art, music, movement, and storytelling to foster curiosity and confidence.
